UNICEF Kids power year-round 2016-2017 program

UNICEFUNICEF Kid Power’s has partnered up with Let’s Move! Active Schools to bring the UNICEF Kid Power school program to schools and students across the country in the 2016-2017 school year. Learn more about this partnership and apply to the 2016-2017 school program here. UNICEF Kid Power gives kids the power to save lives. By getting active with the UNICEF Kid Power Band, kids earn points and unlock therapeutic food packets for severely malnourished children around the world. The more kids move, the more points they earn, the more lives they save. UNICEF Kid Power joins 34 other leading health, education and private sector organizations as part of the Let’s Move! Active Schools national collaborative. UNICEF Kid Power and Let’s Move! Active Schools will work together to help schools create Active School environments that provide children with at least 60 minutes of physical activity before, during and after the school day. Each application submission should represent one classroom. The online application will close on April 30, 2016. We encourage you to share this news with any eligible schools.
