The volunteer sign-up for the California State PTA’s upcoming convention is now available. They are limiting this opportunity to the local PTAs in San Diego County. They are looking for approximately 30 local volunteers starting on Tuesday, May 3rd through Friday May 6th and about half that on Saturday, May 7th. They’ll need support primarily in the PTA Store, as Guides, and supporting registration.
- PTA Store – setting up / taking down, stocking / re-stocking, door monitor, promo pack hand out, general store support
- Guides – assisting convention participants find their way around the resort
- Registration – Kiosks, totes, signs, tap-n-zoom placement, runner, etc.

Volunteers are entitled to admission to the general meetings, exhibits and workshops (space permitting) on the days they volunteer for a shift of at least 3 hours. Individuals who volunteer on May 3rd may return for a one-day free pass to convention (May 4-7), as a non-voting participant. Student volunteers must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by a parent or a guardian.
