Students for Zero Waste Week coming soon!

Did you know that Students for Zero Waste Week is coming up?

Students for Zero Waste Week is a school-driven, week-long awareness campaign to reduce waste on school campuses and within local communities with the intention of moving towards zero waste. Within the overall waste reduction campaign, the focus is on the reduction of single use plastics in both the school environment and within the larger community and watersheds.
This campaign is hosted by NOAA’s National Marine Sanctuaries and Ocean Guardian School Program. Schools choose one week to participate anytime between March 21 – April 22, though the registration deadline is March 1. All schools that register will receive a free printed Zero Waste Week poster and table tents. For more information and/or to register please visit their website at: http://sanctuaries.noaa.gov/education/ocean_guardian/zero-waste-week/welcome.html
