An upstander speaks up and stands up for others. A tattle tale tells to get someone in trouble – an upstander tells to keep someone from getting hurt. Talk to your kids about being an upstander. Parents and caring adults can play pivotal roles in creating healthy, safe school and community climates. We urge you to collaborate with your school principal to reinforce with parents the message students are receiving at school.  To get the conversation going, consider using these PTA resources to organize a Parent Education Night at your school.
